New, opulent and expansive in the best traditions of Abu Dhabi (+Dubai etc). Attended by wealthy locals for conferences during the day and entertainment in the evening, so not your typical "sunburnt tourists in shorts" resort. Large pool which tends to attract families with children, but also a "white sands" private beach which is much more mature and relaxed. Expect to see locals engaged in jetski shenanigans in deep waters outside the fenced-off swimming area, all very harmless but if that sort of noise annoys you, seek a different venue.
