Everything was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! Only down was not very comfortable mattress and pillow in family king size bed.

The hotel is in the best location. So many local restaurants to choose from, and a walk away from the sea shore. Really safe area with tourists around. The hotel itself was wonderful, the staff were welcoming and absolutely helpful. Their English skills are better then mine as a native speaker. The staff know the area well and give honest advice. Have told my whole family to visit the Ferman Hotel.

Speaking of the rooms, they were incredibly spacious and boasted a balcony, which provided breathtaking views of the city. The highlight for my kids was undoubtedly the rain shower, which they absolutely loved. The room's comfort and amenities ensured that we felt right at home during our entire stay. Another aspect that impressed me was the reliable internet connection. Whether it was for work or leisure, having fast and uninterrupted internet access was a definite plus. The hotel's commitment to providing a seamless online experience is highly commendable. The breakfast at Ferman Hotel was simply outstanding. The staff was very very cordial. The location was just a three to five minute walk to the blue mosques and Hagia Sophia. The view from the rooftop breakfast area was the best view , and that was the reason we chose this hotel . Breakfast was good with a variety of food. There was money exchange a lane away and restaurants as well. We shopped from The Tree of life shop that’s just there with good quality ceramics and excellent people working there as it’s a family owned business . ( I would recommend that shop) Overall our experience at Ferman hotel old city was pretty good and if we go again we will consider it again. The furniture and rug can be upgraded but that to us was not very significant for this trip but If the owners pay attention to it then it would be excellent. The view from our room was of the sea lovely indeed but the view Straight down was of a bunch of rooftops and some shabby looking. ( if that matters to anyone) Nuri and Omer at the front desk were very respectful and helpful. Kept out bags for the day after the check in also till our flight time later in the afternoon. Transportation was also provided with reasonable rates upon request.

Our family with kids had a wonderful stay at Ferman Hotel. We loved the rooftop restaurant with exquisite 360 views of the city & daily breakfast buffet. Our room also had a nice water view. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The hotel was walking distance to many landmarks including Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, etc. Also walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Even though our room had an old-fashioned feel, it was very clean and overall matched the “old city” feel. The staff were helpful in arranging airport transport & accessible to answer questions & provide support via WhatsApp. We would recommend & stay here again!

I spent 5 nights at Ferman hotel with my mom and sisters. I couldn't say enough of how wonderful & helpful the staff were. My family arrived at the hotel very early in the morning, few hours before me. Although it wasn't the check-in time, the staff accommodated them, let them in the room , and invited them to have breakfast. The hotel was very clean & close to major attractions and accessible to metro. I wanted to send a special thank you to Utkan, Halil, and Selcuk for all their kindness and assistance. You made our stay very special. I strongly recommend Ferman hotel if you want to have a home away from home in Istanbul and feel well respected & taken care of. Thank you!!
