Darussaade Istanbul - Special Class

Our weeks stay was very comfortable and well serviced. The staff were very helpful and all our transportation were organised per our requests. The breakfast was refreshing and something not experienced before which we really enjoyed as a family. Highly recommend the hotel for convenience to local attractions, comfort and service.

We really appreciated the personal touch of the hotel staff, they really made it comfortable and enjoyable for my kids. The rooms were wonderfully clean.

The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable and homely. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Easy access to restaurants, bazaars and tourist attractions. Will definitely book again, next time a family room rather than 2 separate rooms.

We just got back from Istanbul after a 9 day stay at Darussaade. From start to end our stay at this hotel was nothing but a pleasure. The staff at the front desk, Ismail and Irfan, were efficient, pleasant and very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, that we got to where we wanted to go, and inform us of the ins and outs of navigating Istanbul. We booked three tours thru them and each one was superb. In nine days it felt like we were friends. When leaving, we were hugging and promising that we will come back, like we were family. The rest of the staff were just as great. Birgul and Shakeera made sure our room was immaculate and well supplied each day. Mert, Ali, Zahide, and Zahire work on the terrace where breakfast is served. They provided excellent service each morning. Overall, the hotel was a very pleasant stay. It is 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Jami) and Aya Sofia, therefore, a 5 min walk to the Sultanahmet tram station. Very convenient!! Right accross the street from the hotel is a restaurant, As You Sea Seafood&Kebab, which is excellent. The food is of great quality, unlike some of the restaurants on the busy street further on. Ridwan is the guy who works there. Its a must visit.

Great staff, unique hotel, lovely breakfast and fantastic location. I travelled with my family and the historic theme of the hotel aswell as the service made this trip exceptional for us.

The hotel has "old world" charm. It is quiet (except for morning prayers) and walkable to the major city "must do's" It is on the block with lots of good places to eat- that stay open till very late! The hotel has included breakfast on the roof with a water view. The best thing however, were the two gentlemen who man the front desk: Ismail and Irfan. They spoke English and gave us valuable info. We are a family of 6 plus and infant and they arranged transportation to/from the airport for us. One night we went out and Irfan suggested the best way home was to take the metro. We didn't have a metro card. Irfan loaned us his card so all we had to do was load the card to take the metro home. Such personal care and consideration!

We have recently stayed at Darussaade Istanbul with my family, 2 teenagers and 2 adults. Hotel is a renovated historical building, near all the must see landmarks such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern. Each of these are about 5 min walk and the area has many restaurants and bars that are open late. Hotel itself has an amazing rooftop terrace restaurant that serves breakfast facing both the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The staff is very courteous and helpful, arranging tours and transportation if needed. I highly recommend it if you need a safe, clean and charming place to stay for your Istanbul visit.

the property was ideal for our stay.we had very good views from all the windows.we visited every place we wanted to very easily.there was nothing we could ask for,there was nothing less.we shall definitely stay there again and recommend DARUSSAADE to our friends and family.Very clean too and comfortable.Very convenient location.We have to add that the staff were very very good.The service from all the staff was excellent Made us very welcome .They were very helpful with any request and any information we asked to find our way arond the city.Special mention to ISMAIL,BIRGI,ZAHIDE and every one we do not have their names.T hey do a fantastic job,and do it very well.Congratulations to each of the staff,

I absolutely loved my stay in Darussaade. Firstly, the breakfast was just amazing. Even better than the food was the view of the magnificent blue mosque and the Bosphorus. It was so nice to watch these amazing views while enjoying delicious food that was fresh and different every day. Every morning we woke up excited wondering what goods we would have in the breakfast. The lady who prepared our fresh eggs was so nice. Overall, the best part of this hotel was the great customer service. I’m so glad to have experienced real Turkish hospitality without having to pay unreasonable prices. Ismail and Irfan at front desk were very helpful with anything. Their transportation options are very comfortable and the prices are definitely reasonable compared to other places. The room was beautiful. Bathroom was very nice and the Internet connection was great. The location is just perfect. You are very close to all the amazing historical monuments. It’s such a charming place to be. Finally l would like to mention that the hotel accommodated our baby very well. So, it’s a good place for families too. I will definitely stay here again when l come back to Istanbul. I can’t wait to enjoy that amazing breakfast with that great view. Thank you for everything!

Place is beautiful. We got a family suite and upgrated to 4 bedrooms. Front desk people are very friendly. Location is the best - walking along many restaurants and bars to the two famous mosques in a few minutes, or to the other direction to grand bazaar in 15 minutes.
