AJWA Sultan Suites is beautifully designed boutique hotel located walking distance from all the major historical Ottoman Empire attractions. Our room was spectacular and the people and service was five star. We had a beautifully designed room in the style of charm and Turkish accents with a gorgeous view of the Bospherous. The hotel staff was extremely generous with us and made us feel completely welcome and part of the family. I’d highly recommend this hotel over any of the other larger hotel chains if you want a unique and authentic experience of Turkey with a historical flair and pristine hospitality.

A luxurious hotel coupled with very attentive and polite staff. We had a wonderful stay, nice place to go back to after a whole day walking the busy streets of Istanbul. I think the only thing we are not used to is the separated times when a male and female can use the spa facilities which does prevent families from swimming together, which I think is why hardly anybody used the facilities during our stay, but at the same time we must respect their traditions. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The service was very good. The room was excellent. The only recommendation is that the hotel needs to assign a time without extra charge that the family couples can enjoy the pool and gym together as the hours for women and men was different.

This hotel is absolutely amazing and very beautiful! The staff treat you like family, concerned for every detail. The restaurant offered a lovely breakfast and our dinner was excellent.

Hotel room is beautiful and super clean. All of staff were very kind and supportive. They provided very good tour service for 8 hours. They offered the reasonable price for our family specially. It was a excellent service.

Ajwa is a true five star experience. The service team must be highlighter, from the bell staff to the concierge. You never hear a "no", they help with just about everything and go above and beyond. My small criticism is that the rooms are on the smaller side for families with children but still very comfortable.

The service was excellent and the all staff were very attentive and courteous. The location was very convenient for walking to the main tourist attractions. The restaurant had a great view and had a varied menu. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

This hotel is lovely, our room was well appointed and staff were helpful. However our biggest disappointment was that use of the pool/spa areas was divided to different times of day for men and women. The main reason I booked this hotel was that it was one of the rare hotels with a pool in a very central location. At the end of a day of sightseeing, our family likes to relax in the pool together, but this was not possible since women could only go during some hours, and men during other hours. Additionally, they required that women wear a head covering in the pool area, which is not a bad idea for hygienic reasons, but they did not make men wear them, so it was clearly a religious rule. When I checked in, I mentioned that I did not see this pool rule on the Expedia website. The staff insisted that it must be there. I did eventually find it in the “policies” section, rather than under the amenities description. I think it would be much more transparent if they put the rules about segregation of men and women in the pool amenities area of the website so it is obvious. The hotel staff did everything they could to try to make up for this issue, including providing us with a free dinner in the restaurant on the top floor, which was amazing. However, the hotel stay was essentially ruined for my daughter who noted that the best hours of the pool in the afternoon and evening were reserved for men whereas times for women were in the morning/ mid-day when most would be sightseeing.

Great location, great hotel, nice decor, room phenomenal. Allowed extra child for free. The breakfast food is amazing. The in room dining is amazing, the guy kept asking us what we need and care a lot about our children. Location is exceptional in middle of old city walking to all major attraction or tram station. At the end gave us souvenir. Made our vacation the best I would stay again

As soon as we walked into hotel we felt welcome and was treaded as a family. Special thanks to reception team, this people provided outstanding service . We got helped with everything we asked to call taxi, book cruise, directions, etc. Hotel itself located in walking distance from Grang bazar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Spicy bazar. .
