A fantastic gem. A sweet small boutique hotel with an expert host. Wonderful hidden location with close access to the blue mosque and all the sites. Beautiful spot with flowers and lovely restaurants next door. We are from the US and needed a Covid test to get home, the hotel called and had a nurse come and do the test for $10, it made everything so easy. Our family will be back soon, it was a wonderful place.

A warm welcome awaits you at Ahmet efendi evi .. the hosts are lovely and freindly and happy to help you in any way they can ..we had the family room which has a living room area and separate bedroom which was great as we were staying 11 nights. Breakfast and fresh coffee was made for us each morning and gave us a good start to the day . The location is great in a quite area within walking distance of the blue mosque and the grand bazaar and walking distance to the hook up to the local transport system , trams, trains,buses,underground and boats. Plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby. Or if you want a delivery the hosts will happily order in for you . This is not a posh hotel its a home from home freindly clean comfortable quiet place that you can feel at ease in . A great base for your adventures in istanbul. Will definitely come back here . Very Good Hotel, very friendly an helpful staff, it has a very homely feel. The lady at reception was always smiling and always greeted me with a warm welcome every time I came through the reception. Has a very cosy little garden terrace downstairs. walking distance from most famous landmarks and in a very quite street. Close to restaurants. The WiFi at the hotel was always good. I would highly recommend this place if your a couple or family. I've been to Istanbul a few times and this was by far the best hotel so far. Only down side My shower was a bit small could just about fit but i managed so not a major issue.
