Mr. C New York - Seaport

If you’re thinking about getting a room with a view of Peck Slip or the Waterfront, don’t bother. there’s no real difference unless you go for the most expensive suites. The staff are friendly and really push their two restaurants and bars before you check in. The lady manager at one of the restaurants was super helpful. I ordered a drink at 4 PM, but the bartender wasn’t there, so she made me one herself, and it was so good I wanted another. But when the bartender came back, he made it differently, saying the manager didn’t know how to make cocktails. Honestly, I preferred the manager’s version. When I checked out, the bartender realized he made the wrong drink, but there was no compensation. At 8:30 PM, I took my son to their other restaurant, thinking we could just walk in since we were guests. They had a big party that night and couldn’t accommodate us. I asked if I could order to-go, but the manager at the bar was rude and clearly didn’t want to serve a mom with a kid. A waiter tried to help and told me it would take over an hour because the kitchen was so busy. I understood and went to a nearby store with my son. When we came back at 9:45, they said our order was sent to another restaurant. We went there, only to find the kitchen was closed. Seaport is a beautiful property with extremely nice staff. The hotel feels very high end. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family especially if they are looking for a spot that is not as hectic as midtown.

If you are looking for a safe, quite and super clean hotel in NY, this is the best choice. It is walk distance to Brooklyn bridge, subway stations and financial district. My family and I really enjoyed our time there.

The staff were super friendly, welcoming & went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience on NYE. Including one complimentary adult beverage per two adults. It was very kids friendly as well!
