Excellent hotel for our family of six. Large room, clean and fairly new (or renovated). View of the Empire state building from the room we had. Very nice staff at this hotel which is centrally located in Manhattan.

Frequent traveler to NYC for work, first time at the Broadway Plaza Hotel with family. Great experience with the staff at every level (check in, concierge, housekeeping, etc.). They seem to take pride in the hotel. The room we had (Junior Suite) was a very good size with a large bathroom. The area around the hotel is vibrant with lots of places to eat nearby. The only negative is that there are parts of the hotel that are a little worn and need some TLC.

We came to NYC as a family of 4. It was a last minute decision to travel north. We booked this hotel because the size of the room and the price was amazing. The staff was friendly over the phone when we called asking about parking, and even when we called a second time asking to be more specific. One of the guys came out to load our bags on a cart, took them up to our room while we parked, and everything was seemless from start to finish.

This property is great. We have a big family and this hotel was one of the few that could accommodate us in one room. The rates aren’t cheap but they are reasonable. The hotel itself is cute and stylish in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and transitional in style. The staff is really friendly and the location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Some great shopping spots close by too, and everything is super walkable. We would walk or take the train to most places. It’s also relatively safe even at night. Although it seems that unless you are in very specific areas, New York has some very dynamic characters everywhere you go, but we weren’t bothered by anyone.
The only thing I would say needs improvement is that the carpet in the room seemed dirty, but not because it wasn’t vacuumed, more so it is saturated in dirty and it seems old. And second, the bathroom shower tiles had a little mold on them, but I’ve seen worse. Outside of that, everything else was perfect.

This property was great! We stayed here for a weekend with our 3 kids and were more than comfortable with 2 king beds and a pull-out couch. Room was huge and the bathroom was clean and very nice! We even had a view of the Empire State Building from our window! Hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. Would love to stay here again.

My family and I stayed here and it was great. Easily accessible to subway and bus. Broadway is pedestrian and bikes only directly in front of the hotel, which gave it a calmer feel overall. It was easy to catch Ubers right at the corner of broadway and 27th. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, including a Whole Foods and cvs. Staff was attentive. Our room was spacious and clean.

This was our first family trip to a different state. After doing so much research and reading reviews we decided on this hotel. We weren’t at all familiar with the area, so our stay was based on all the places we wanted to visit (Times Square, MoMA, battery park, ground zero, Rockefeller plaza). Times Square was about a 13 minute walk. We even walked the opposite way to battery park and towards ground zero which was about 25-30 mins (with multiple stops). A lot of sight seeing so the long walk was no issue for us. The staff were absolutely incredible and hospitable. Cleaning staff was incredibly friendly. Constantly greeted with smiles and ‘good mornings/afternoons/nights’. Our room was one of the remodeled junior suites and it was so clean, cozy and surprisingly spacious! We had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. We came not expecting to want to make a second trip, but our stay and overall experience was truly memorable and are already planning our next visit at this exact same hotel. As someone who truly pays attention to reviews and is picky with hotels, don’t pay attention to the few negative reviews, you will not regret staying here. Everything was conveniently close whether you chose to walk or Uber. Thank you for making our family trip unforgettable!

We stayed at the Broadway Plaza for 4 nights during the Halloween break. We are a family of five with 3 children. The staff at the hotel were excellent and our room was fantastic- we had a deluxe junior suite.
I would strongly recommend this hotel as a family friendly hotel and a great place to base yourself in Manhattan. We were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go and had access to great shops and restaurants. Five stars
