1 Hotel Central Park

I already shared a review regarding being placed in adjoining room with a family of a bunch of children screaming from before 6am and onwards. No one responded to that review. I had planned a romantic staycation and a nice late dinner and drinks with my girlfriend in the area. We were excited to get a good night's sleep in our comfortable room and be able to sleep in. Unfortunately, we woke up very early to children on the other side of our conjoining room door, screaming and stomping around until we had to check out later that morning. I'm not sure why we were placed in a conjoining room but we could hear every little footstep clear as day. It was a horrible experience and a complete waste of money. Would love for someone to remedy this experience but unfortunately left with a very bitter taste in my mouth, especially after not getting a response to my first message.

The room was not ready at our (4 person family) arrival. From 5pm, we had to wait another 1.5h in the lobby area and were given a 100USD as compensation for drinks at the bar. This is no way near what I would expect from a hotel that’s charging as high nightly rates and with five star ambitions. Clearly this hotel chain doesn’t care enough for their customers. I will not stay with them again.

very nice and comfy, clean. we had our 11 month baby and everything was a fit!
