Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel

My family n i enjoyed the amenities n the restaurants..

It was a nice resort… nothing spectacular but they had two pools and a bar at the pool. They had an arcade for kids. I didn’t appreciate them setting up check in as a way to lure you into attending a 90 minute tour and presentation to purchase a timeshare. They also have the lobby packed with staff trying to sell you a timeshare and that’s annoying when you booked through hotels.com and didn’t expect to be in that setting.

Our family stay was awesome. Plenty of things to do for the whole family. Clean, professional, quality and great service.

We love this resort, we always book a water park room. Check in seemed a little odd, as the person checking us in told me the building and the floor and showed it to me on a map, but failed to tell me that the room was not ready. So we had all our things on a luggage cart and when we looked at the book given it had a building number and a floor but no room. The water park area is great... but i'd avoid the weekends, it was insanely packed. Come to find out they sell day passes. Making the lazy river full. We really enjoyed it on the weekdays when it was less crazy. The rooms are large and clean. My kids love having their own beds.

This is my go to property when I am visiting Orlando. It’s family and pet friendly. I love to stay in the bungalow for more space. It has never disappointed me. Staff is friendly. So much to do on the property. I’ve met a few famous people while I was there too.

My family and I stayed here only one night in a two room villa. What I really enjoyed was the cleanliness of our villa and how well stocked the kitchen is. We needed nothing. We really enjoyed all the pools. Each one had its own vibe. We look forward to having a longer stay next time.

The check-in line took about 30 minutes. Next, you will be instructed to see a timeshare agent, under the guise of having your room keys activated. The first room was located in the registration building. The room smelled of freshly fried food and a cabinet was broken off. The front desk switched our room. The rooms are clean, but dated. The finishing on the cabinets were peeling. You can hear your neighbors doors slamming, kids screaming and crying, and conversations outside of your room very clearly. There are many options for pools. The lazy river area is very popular and gets busy as the day goes on. Try to arrive early to get a shaded spot or table. There is a $9 fee per person to rent a tube for the lazy river. There are meal and drink options available around the pool areas as well. The bathrooms were clean and well attended to. I would rate the experience a 3 out of 10, simply because the hotel accommodations were not up to par, wi-fi was terrible, excessive noise, and pressure to attend timeshare presentation. Also, there is a fee of $50 added to your stay if you sign up for the timeshare that they will not remove. If you enjoy luxuries on vacation this place is not it.
