Holiday Inn Express Mesa Verde-Cortez, an IHG Hotel

The Good first, the bed was excellent!! Super comfortable! One of the best of our vacation! It would have really slept nice if it wasn’t for the paper thin walls, a screaming child in the adjacent room till 2am, and the doors slamming open and shut all night and then again at 5 in the morning. The room was nice, bathroom needs updating but everything worked. Shower was clogged.

It was all perfect except for too many kids in the pool and hot tub. Oh, well, let them have their fun. But don’t necessarily expect for the pool and hot tub to be a relaxing experience. lol.

This was the first place we stayed that could accommodate my whole family. We had 2 rooms with bunk beds and video games for the kids. Thank you very much.

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. My older kids still enjoy the “fort” bunk beds room. We all had a quiet and comfortable rest before the next part of our road trip. Thank you!

Lovely property! It’s got everything we need. The front desk was great at check in. We hung out in the indoor pool (it is cold but the hot tub feels great) and had a delicious dinner near by (do try Shiloh Steak House). Check in was easy as well as parking. The rooms are clean and spacious for us as a family of 4. Cute little areas to hang out. I would definitely recommend!

This was our favorite hotel on a trip where we stayed in 9 different hotels in 9 different cities! We paid a little extra for a room with the bunk beds for the kids, and it was a hit—they absolutely loved having their own little fort. We got the best night’s sleep of the entire trip here—the room was quiet and comfortable. The pool was perfectly warm and big enough for several families to swim/play comfortably. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were great! We would absolutely stay here again!

We've stayed in several hotels that were supposed to hold families but many of them have really cramped and thoughtless layouts. This room was pretty nicely laid out with the twin beds off in a separate room which had a TV and PS3 in it. The king-size bed was centrally located which made it double as a place to sit while conversing. There was a desk chair, a foot rest, and a comfort chair, so if you have 6 people in the room you have to sit on the bed. The bath and sink were off to the side and mostly out of the way which was really nice and better for privacy. The sink was outside the bathroom so one person could be taking a shower and another could be getting ready. Made mornings more efficient. Breakfast was good. Overall a great place to stay!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and the breakfast was wonderful! We have 2 toddlers with us and they really enjoyed the variety of breakfast so we didn't have to worry about what to eat.
