This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. First, when you enter the building, you can smell the chlorine that they use in the pool. It is an indoor pool that’s cloudy as heck and freezing. It made me itchy from the amount of chlorine. On the first day, we checked in, and the elevator wasn’t working. This was more than an inconvenience considering we were staying on the third floor and traveling with children. The room smelled terrible when we entered. Also, the toilet wouldn’t stop running. The real kicker was the second day. We went out hiking at Mesa Verde and returned at 1:30 PM. We wanted to shower up and relax, yet there was not any running water. We spoke to Greta at the front desk. She said it would take 1-2 hours. We waited two hours, and there still wasn’t water! When we asked again, they said it was out in the entire county. This was a flat out lie as I called the hotel and KFC across the street, and they had water. They were still checking people in without telling them! They finally put up a sign after I started telling the people next to me about the situation. We were going to stay another night, but we couldn’t stand it. It was 7 PM, and there still wasn’t water. We asked for a refund and stayed elsewhere. I must say that Greta was highly dismissive and unapologetic about the entire situation. Do NOT stay here. There are other better places to stay!

This is an older hotel and I usually don’t really have a problem with that but the vibe was off from check in. I waited 15 mins to check in the gentleman ahead of me was having some issues it was in Spanish so I’m not sure as to who’s fault the issues were. After standing there 5 min Another worker saw me it took 5 min to agree to help me and another 5 for her to get on the process of checking me in. The line behind me grew to 4-5 more families at this time. The pool is inside think a poor man’s Embassy style hotel and the smell of the pool was overwhelming. The noise level was very loud we heard people all night.

Stay was okay. The hotel is older and could use a little updating. Black carpet in pet friendly rooms isn't ideal. Checkin was kind of interesting. It is a family run hotel, but being checked in by a 12 year old was odd. The pool was kind of nasty. It definitely needs to be cleaned and repaired.

The hotel breakfast was delightful and well thought out for every taste. I loved being able to feed one kiddo bagels while the other wanted sausage. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot and didn't want to leave. There were towels nearby so you didn't have to take towels from your hotel room. The views were stunning, waking up and seeing the sunrise light up the nearby mountains. The town itself is adorable and quaint and I wish we had more time to explore, which the hotel is near enough to eat and do a walk around. All in all, love this hotel and will be coming back.

Good breakfast, nice and friendly staff, good accommodation for family or business. The only problem we had was we got over charged for an incorrect room that was asked about.

My reservation was missing. I finally got it figured out. However the front desk at the hotel was so patient, kind and caring. She assisted me and answered all my questions and when my family and I arrived at the hotel. She had everything ready and knew we were tired. Checking in was a breeze. We love this hotel! Staff is amazing and the hotel is always clean.
