Our family of five adults had a spacious courtyard room. Facility is dated, not very clean; needs updating and refreshing. Breakfast was below average, rather crowded.

We actually ended up NOT staying, and are persuing a refund. We booked a room for 6, and it claimed to have two queen beds and a double sofa sleeper. When we arrived it turned out that the sofa sleeper was actually pulled out from an oversized chair, and was twin-sized. I asked for a cot or roll-away for our 4th kid to sleep on, and they refused, citing that the fire code does not allow more than 6 beds in a room. They were adamant that the sofa sleeper was a double and would fit two people. I invited them to come to our room to look at it, and they declined. I then showed them a photo of my 12-year-old laying on it to prove it is twin-size and would NOT also fit my 10-year-old. Their solution was to offer to sell me a second room at a discounted rate. Nope. I paid for a 6-person room. I’m not paying extra for another room because you only provided 5 beds. Also, the floor was vinyl-plank, so not even an option to have a kid sleep there. No carpet. After asking the desk clerk to call the manager and still getting nowhere, we requested they just refund us so we could go elsewhere and find a hotel with 6 beds. They still refused, so we let them know we were departing, and will pursue a refund through credit card dispute.

Checked in after 8 hours on the road just wanted to go to bed. 4 kids headed to the beds, pulled out the couch bed and there was food and black specs all over the bed. Went to the desk to request clean linens so we could change our OWN bedding and was told they cannot give any clean linens. We said we could not sleep in a bed that obviously had been slept in. Still no linens. We immediately checked out and asked for a refund. They said sorry we cannot provide a refund contact your booking provider. Contacted my booking provider no answer at the front desk after 2 attempts. Worst customer service I have EVER received at ANY hotel. Shocked this was the service at an expensive fancy best western. Left and went down the street to another hotel for $80 cheaper. Wonderful services, immediate service, great room! No more Best Westerns for our family!

The hotel is old, and noisy. You can hear next door conversation. Bed sheets and pillows have stains. The window is not secured. The parking lot was flooded and limited spaces. We had to carry the luggage, and made a big loop to reach our room. The lobby female staff kept talking with previous customer about her family, kids, hometown for 15 minutes and let me waiting in line! unprofessional.

We stayed here last minute with several families. The rooms were great and the bathrooms had been updated and were very new. Breakfast was good. Pool was closed for the winter (understandable) and the hot tub was also closed because of damage. Front desk was friendly and we didn't have any issues.

We just needed a place to rest up for the evening and sleep but we got something much better. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Even though she was swamped, she was able to take great care of us. We needed two rooms and they were both very nice suites that could sleep six people each. The hotel is older but it's really nice. My grandkids wanted to swim but the pool was closed. However, the indoor hot tub was open and it was amazing. It was basically the size of a backyard built in pool and was landscaped in rock with a waterfall. To them it was a lovely swimming pool. The grounds were also nicely landscaped with an area to BBQ and sit in a park-like area with a waterfall. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best that we've seen. It included full hot breakfast items and plenty of seating. It is located near Mesa Verde National Park and not too far from Four Corners Monument. It is also conveniently located to stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was fine. It was a motel instead of a hotel which I wasn't expecting, but that is no real issue. Unfortunately, the rooms did not have wifi. They had one access point in the main office that couldn't get a signal if you walked 20 feet out the door. The staff on-site was apologetic and kept on offering to reset it, but that isn't going to change the range of the signal. She also promised she'd have it looked into when the manager was coming in around 6pm. I spent the first hour and a half sitting in the lobby to take care of all the internet-related things, download all netflix shows for the kids tablets, and for watching in the evening. Others joined me, and soon there was a group of people sitting using the internet in the lobby. Suffice it to say the internet never worked in the room. I checked again in the morning before we checked out and still was not picking up any access point on any of our devices in our room.

Our room was probably the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Everything has a layer of dirt/dust on it. The walls has gross stuff splattered on it, but the floora were the grossest of all. My son dropped water from his wet bathing suit and it made mud on the floor. We stayed 2 overnights in the world's most uncomfortable beds. Our room was never cleaned by house keeping. We had to unclog a toilet ourselves that I'm not sure we clogged in the first place. I asked for Lysol wipes to clean the bathroom myself. The pool turned both my children's hair green and one boy has brown hair! I mean bright green! We put up with the noise the first night, but complained the second night to the front desk. We choose best westerns because we can count on great, clean rooms and amazing customer service. If the hotels can't be consistent with their quality control than we are going to stay at a different hotel for business and vacations. It was a true disappointment. Pay more money and stay at a better hotel!

The staff are super friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. We had a suite which worked well for our family. The courtyard is a nice feature. Housekeeping staff were very good. For a comfortable night stay while you are in the area to explore Mesa Verde or Four Corners, it is a great option.
