The And Hotel Istanbul - Special Class

My stay of three nights at the Arm Hotel was a pleasure. The location of the hotel, within a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and the Blue Mosque, was perfect for getting to these popular places early enough to beat the more crowded times. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with advice, and willing to take the time to make sure I was getting good answers to questions, even with those staff whose English is less fluent. The view from the restaurant was as advertised, and the food choices were very good. In the early evening, there were loud, joyful performances with people in costume that geared for tourists in the small park just next to the hotel. These performances never went into the later evening and the neighborhood was quiet during sleeping hours. My visit was in early March, and things may be different during peak tourist season, or outside of Ramadan. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, even friends and family.
