Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy (SG Clean)

Reception and service staff are all very polite and helpful. It made our extended family stay a wonderful one.

Easy access to shopping mall and hawker center. Variety of food in the area. Concierge was very helpful with transportation and any questions/concerns. Coin Laundry service ($7/wash or dry) was a plus. Pool for the kids was great.

Rooms are equipped with bare minimum and rooms desperately need a total uplift. No bottled water which was fine. Do not have a welcoming feel, we all felt uncomfortable the moment we checked in the rooms which were right at the end of the corridor. Staffs at counter & door not very welcoming. Dialled to speak to the operator, counter and concierge from room phone, but no answer at all. No safety feel. One of the rooms alloted were right at the end outside the exit door facing the exit staircase and all of us had the most uncomfortable stay in a hotel ever and we couldn't bear to stay in the room for another minute and checked out way earlier before check out time. Worst hotel experience ever and definitely not worth the price paid, JB hotels far better compared to this. Plans to have a good and relaxing weekend staycation for family totally wrecked. Rooms are a real disappointment. Wierd noises in the middle of the night and some rooms were cold and some too hot like in the oven. Noise also from the doors with connecting rooms and some lights in the room dim out and suddenly shine brightly. Tap dripping after being turned off for a while. TV in corner room also suddenly acted wierd and blacked out. Horrible staycation experience ever. Can't believe is a 4-star hotel.

Staff were all friendly and front desk even gave us an upgrade to our room as he noted us traveling with kids that night just so that we can all be well rested and have ample space.
