Oasia Hotel Downtown Singapore (SG Clean)

The hotel is clean, comfortable and well located, just in front of an MRT station. The staff is really nice and helpful. The only problem is that we booked a room for two adults and one child and our daughter had to sleep with us because they don’t provide extra beds. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

This hotel is not one of them...! Explanantion... there are too many hotels about at the moment selling "club" rooms that have very little extra... This is not one of them! Their Club is well worth paying for. You get your own separate 4 floors. Club get their own large outdoor pool and area, not filled with grotty screeching children and louts, also a proper lounge food /drink room, also used for club breakfast. free drink, fee food... The good old Club experience as it used to be. And good one Lucas, you and the staff there are way above average!! I will def be staying here every Singapore visit from now.

The photos do not do the location justice. The description says three pools however the main infinity pool is for club access guests only. We couldnt get access because we had children under 13 so we were exempt. This would have been fine had the pool we did have access to had any level of service. The pool was dirty, there was no service at all. You had to go back to your room to order a drink to then head back to the pool to have your item delivered to you and then repeat. There is a restaurant up there but is closed, however the website boasts access to multiple restaurants, all with amazing images. We were there over a weekend so we were confused as to why it would be shut. I went down stairs to our room to order food and drinks to be delivered to the pool and nobody answered the room service or front desk I home for over 10 minutes. When they finally answered they told me they were busy checking guests in. I asked if they were then only staff and was told both of the staff were busy. I then asked how many rooms the hotel- 340 rooms / 2 staff -The food was eye watering expensive for the quality of the hotel. $18 for a bowl of fries is more than you’d pay in a Michelin star restaurant. The rooms are tiny and the shower is almost unusable with a giant rain shower head in the middle of a tiny shower. There is no escaping the water if you’re not wanting to wash your hair. It’s also got soap scale built-up in ver the grout from multiple reapplications of the grout.

We were downgreded to a smaller room and lower floor becouse we had a baby with us. We were denied using club lounge. We did not get any refund based on downgrade even we mentionedit two times. unprofessional frontdesk service and frontdesk manager. Rooms were not clean.

Great location to subway across the street and Maxwell Hawker Center plus downtown and Chinatown. Distinct architecture but see-thru bathroom is a bit unusual for families/work if you’re sharing the room. Nice pool for club-level rooms

Best hotel experience ever. If I had to criticise I would say they needed to be a little stricter on the no child policy in the club lounge floors.

The hotel location is great that near MRT with just 1min walk distance and on the line to the airport. Easy to travel to the attractions. The design of building is also fantastic however when it comes to the view from your room, you can hardly see any views except the plant wall and also the dust and dead leaves on the floor which seem the hotel won’t clean regularly. The door of one toilet cabinet is broken but it has NO sign on that but just one wire attached to avoid from falling down which almost get my kid hurt. Room cleaning services definitely requires improvement. The floor wasn’t cleaned on one day. The used cup wasn’t washed and just put back to cabinet with orange pulp.
