City Express Ensenada

I basically liked almost everything but the pool, it was designed without having kids in mind (8-9 years old) and that was our main goal to entertain our kids at the pool but it was 4'2" all across!

City Express is a good choice for staying in Ensenada. Everything is very modern and up to date. Staff is welcoming and friendly 24-7. Hotel has all the amenities expected of an American hotel or what is expected of a hotel abroad. My first concern was the WiFi which was on-and-off throughout our 4 day stay. Somehow hotel management needs to commit to adding routers period. Other comments here confirm this concern. The other issue was breakfast was fine until the eggs one morning came mixed with hot chile/hot sauce which automatically was a no for our 2-year old son and stomach-sensitive wife; and there were not other options. Perhaps provide a set of eggs without spices for family's who prefer non-spicy foods. These are quick fixes and should not take away from the goodness of this facility.

It was so disgusting. There was blood on the sheets. The room had not even been cleaned and it smelled like sewer. There was no rooms available to move to it was so bad I didn’t even let my kids take showers

The reason I reserved this property was because of the swimming pool. When I checked in front desk staff said that the swimming pool was open until 10 pm at 9 pm my children went to use the pool and the gentleman at the front desk told them the pool was closed already but there was people using the pool made no sense. Front Desk staff need to work on there customer service it seems like they don't want to help you at all, at check in the lady checking us in was running back and forth the a room behind the front desk seemed like she was eating. Also saw the manager in the pool area with what seemed to be front desk staff and family drinking beer while working. Breakfast was another disappointment as when ran out of breakfast it tool them forever to restock on the food and also they seemed to get upset when we asked them there was no more food if they could restock.

I like the staff it was quick check in and the hotel isbeautiful. The only thing that was disturbing was the stairway door was slammed when used and Noise when people were yelling and kids running down the hall even being on the 4the floor I understand of the yelling and running but the doors slamming could be possible of a fix or restart it but I appreciate the staff being nice thank you for your service appreciate it
