Grand Hotel Zell Am See

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it. Fabulous location, very friendly staff, very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is fantastic (I think the best we have ever had,) Apparently the evening meals are great too but went out. The swimming pool area is lovely. As I wasn't skiing I had it all to myself in the mornings - I understand it gets busy with children in the afternoon. Our only gripe is the position of our room - 223. It overlooked both the lake and the town so we got best of both worlds.... until Monday night when the goods trains started rumbling past - almost continuously. There are also two family rooms next door and unfortunately we must have had the noisiest children ever staying in them who started shouting and running around from about 6.30 am. But that's our only gripe. THe hotel itself is lovely and we would definitely stay again.
