This hotel harkens back to the days of personal, unique hotels where the decor isn't cookie cutter, the rooms are historic and the staff is friendly and efficient. I was on a LONG college-visit tour with my teenager and had had my fill of corporate chain hotels. This was like a little oasis in a lovely, quiet part of downtown Manhattan. Parking was right across the street (yes, you have to pay $40 a day). There were black out curtains and the sound proofing was amazing. Opening the window part way you could hear all the sounds of the city, but when closed, all was quiet. The only downside was their breakfasts are sugary pastries, waffles, etc without much else. But I would still stay here and get breakfast elsewhere if needed. My kid may end up going to college in the area and I will be happy to stay here again.

We just had four wonderful days at in NYC mostly because of our great stay at The Wall Street Inn. The service was fabulous....Tatiana at the front desk with her suggestions and help made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The spacious room was a very pleasant surprise as we had kids with us. There was plenty of room for our four suitcases, nice closet space and also a spacious bathroom. Only suggestions would be...please add a wall shelf near the sink in the bathroom...definitely could use more space to set things...and the space is available! The complimentary breakfast was a huge perk for us and the treats out at night really were a treat. Also...the location was great...close to so many wonderful sites in the city, yet very comfortable and a lot less hectic than midtown. Lots of great little restaurants close by and we really enjoyed Stone Street behind for drinks....food at Ulyses was great!

Booked on expedia and paid in full for one room with two adults an two children 14 and 15 years old. After passing the hotel two times because of scaffolding over entrance, we had to pay 50 dollars extra because they said the children were too big. Beds are short.

Excellent hotel. Love the rooms that don't look all the same like chain hotels. The hotel had a feel of a nice Boutique hotel. Very pleasant and centrally located. Metro stop close by. We went there while there were some facade renovations but we're not bothered at all by it. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was awesome with excellent breakfast pastries. The staff was helpful and very courteous. We will stay there again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We traveled as a family with kids and this hotel was perfect for us.

Difficulties during check in due to confusion over age of child. Promised an extra bed but due to lack of communication among staff, we did not receive one until 2nd night of stay.

stayed 3 nights with my family. A bit disappointed by the size of the room and the lack of space. The air conditioning is very old and extremely noisy even if not working. Difficult to open the windows because of works going on.
