Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa

This hotel is amazing. As a family we made such great memories here and I hope we can go back soon.

Property largely ok but not ideal for families with small children. When we arrived we were in a room right underneath large drilling taking place. When we complained reception said it would be lovely in June 2025 when we come back to visit, not ideal when on holiday in July 2024. They kindly found us another room. The outside bar which serves food has a limited menu and food not great. Chicken wings were very gristly and fatty and salad very basic. 3030 restaurant inside was very good so would recommend avoid outside food and come in. Overall it’s very expensive food and drink for what we felt wasn’t worth the price.

Great for families, excellent amenities. The private beach is just wonderful. Our new beach destination in Florida.

Most impressive is the access to beautiful beach. However the rooms are a little outdated and the added amenities costs such as but not limited to umbrella each day $25, parking $49 a day, $44 facility fee per day, anything extra cost and gratuity added as well as beach employees charging fees and services we did not get was an issue. A lot of kids and family oriented but very small pool considering we were unable to use pool due to it being way too crowded. The second best thing was the Ocean Restaurant service, food and convenience was excellent. Would come back for beach access and food.

Its a great resort right on the beach, it has great amenities and activities for the whole family.

Extremely friendly staff, just overall dated and cleanliness was lacking. Bathroom had ants, room service trays weren’t picked up for almost 24 hours-even when we set them outside in the hall, had to ask for towels, etc-all minor stuff but it added up. Overall wasn’t terrible, the friendly staff made up for any negatives and the drinks were great. Would probably stay again if it was a trip with kids, but not for a romance/couples trip like this trip was.

We had to call everyday to get our room cleaned and the bathroom floors still seemed to be dirty. They advertize a kids club but it ws never open during our stay

We took my 14 yr old on a vacation for his graduation and we truly loved it. Food is a little pricey as well as some of the activities but we liked that we didn’t gave to go looking for activities outside of the hotel. Our only problem was that we did feel somewhat discriminated when we were at the beach. Employees never came up to us to ask if we wanted yo order anything, yet they asked people around us. But other than that it’s a very nice place to go with the family

The resort is nice with a pool and really large beach. The service, especially by the reception and management is horrible. I had a very rude encounter at check-in, staff was very unprofessional and rude. No one greets, no one smiles, no hello, they just try to make excuses or point to hotel policy to show why they can't provide you with good service. The resort does not try to give great customer service, it appears to be run like a standard city hotel that will do the bare minimum. Pretty much everything is overpriced ($9 coffee and $20 for a kids meal pasta) and there are extra charges for almost everything. Though they charge a hefty resort fees, you have to pay extra for a basic resort amenity like umbrellas on the beach. No one even told us what is included in the resort fees, and we found out together other guests. Rooms feel like they have cheap furnishings and don't really feel high quality. On the good side, it is a large property, pool was a lot of fun, and the beach is extremely large. We were in a suite which was very spacious with a separate bedroom, sofa bed, dining table. Great for a family. Overall it felt more like a city hotel than a vacation destination resort.

Definitely will come again with my kids!
