Cheyenne Mountain Resort, A Dolce by Wyndham

Good location. Room and bathroom could have been a little cleaner. We had a few issues with the staff while we were there, but nothing that ruined our stay. Seemed like they were short handed and had poor communication. Great place for kids of all ages.

Good experience and fun for kids

I had stayed at this property when I was in CO on business several years ago. I was excited to bring my family back with me this time. We enjoyed the room/balcony, the property itself and the amenities. It was perfect for families. The only reason we're not giving 5 stars was some of the property needed attention...for example, when we got to the pool one afternoon, there were 3 lounge chairs open and all were broken. It was an extra hot day and all of the umbrellas were also broken. We did eat dinner on property one night and had to wait 30 minutes for a table while "the kitchen got caught up." They took our name and we didn't have a problem waiting. Unfortunately, they overlooked our name and after waiting for a table for 45 minutes and we asked about it, they realized their mistake. We sat down and the server said it would be a 30 minute wait for appetizers and 60 for food. Thankfully it did not take nearly this long and we received our food in a decent amount of time.

Great family friendly location

It was better than I thought. We had a resort view and the view was stunning. The lake with beach and canoe/ paddle boats were wonderful and they didn’t charge extra for these amenities. We loved the golf and sand volleyball. They provide the balls and equipment. The pools were all great. They have something for everyone even little ones. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Mountain View and on the same property as the country club so the resort is big and spread out. Not convenient if you’ve got kids and staying at the top of a hill and want to swim down at the fun, family pool. There’s no golf cart or shuttle around the resort so we just drove our car around the resort grounds to get from our room to restaurant to the pool.

Fun mini vacay spot for the family.

The pools were great for my daughter, she loved the swimming. This place is definitely great for a big group and for kids. It is not fancy, the restaurants are mediocre.

Great atmosphere, great for kids.

I thought this place was amazing. The view is spectacular and the place had everything you needed whether going as a family or a couple. I would just suggest that they had more night activities for the guests to enjoy.
