The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul

The room is half of the size of what is advertised!! It’s only 50m2 not 107m2!! I have stayed in more then 100 hotels this is first time I stayed at RC and found out that kids 4 years younger can’t swim in their indoor swimming pool!! When I questioned this no answer or bothered to call us back and explain!! I will not recommend RC hotel or Hotels.com for misleading information provided on their website about size of room!! Bad experience

The hotel is Ok. However , we are talking about Ritz… OK isn’t enough. There are so many other beautiful hotels in the area, but we chose Ritz, to be sure that we’ll get the best service. We were sooo wrong. Hotel is old, renovation needed, elevators work slow, spa is a complete disaster, tiles are missing in a pool and on a floor, steam room is barely working, jacuzzi and pool are the same water temperature etc Our flight was later the day of check out so we requested a luggage pick up and storage. Imagine our surprise when we found out that they simply left 2 suit cases, a baby stroller and our coats on the street… literally outside the building, while we were waiting in a spa for 4 hours. the temperature outside was minus 4 C. Doesn’t feel comfortable to put on freezing coats and use cold stroller.it took them some time to find our luggage whatsoever On the other hand we did enjoy our breakfasts and the staff in the restaurant was amazing!

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul for three nights and had the most incredible experience and can’t wait to return! The staff was very attentive and the concierge curated experiences, and booked activities for us. We traveled with two kids (6 and 8) who were so sad when we departed. They enjoyed the kids club, the pool and the lounge access. The lounge has delicious food all day and was super convenient to refuel up throughout the day. I can’t recommend this property enough. It wasn’t just a vacation, it was a full experience.

We recently spent 4 nights at the hotel with our 2 children. We were not disappointed. The property itself is fantastic and what made our stay unforgettable was the level of care of all the staff. Nothing was too much of a request and they were all amazing with our children. I would definitely recommend to stay there. The location is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel so if you want to be in a slightly quieter area this is the hotel for you. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay at the hotel again.

Truly a 5 star hotel in every way. But I was disappointed my child could not use the pool. A large reason I chose this hotel was for the indoor pool, so I was upset when told 6 is the min age. The staff were all exceptional, everyone was so helpful and friendly, it really did make the stay enjoyable.

Everyone is so warm and welcoming! Selcuk, Aysun and Burak are the most amazing staff at breakfast and have made our daughter feel so loved. We felt like they were apart of the family! She looked forward to having breakfast everyday! Ayse with housekeeping always made our daughter feel special and always took such great care of us. The reception concierge and staff working outside to help with taxis and luggage were so accommodating and helpful and always helped us with special care. The service at Ritz Carlton Bosphorus is absolutely first class and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Istanbul!
