Room Mate Emir

We only stayed there for two nights, but we wished we stayed longer. The place looks brand new. A lot of areas to hang out within the hotel. The room was clean and very modern and got cleaned daily. The rainfall shower was a plus. They also had set up a sofa bed for us as requested. There was also an iron for the clothes which I alway prefer while in vacation. The location is amazing. You have everything within walking distance; cafes, restaurants, shops, galata tower, taksim square. We had a blast with our toddler, it was very quiet. They also have a spa which we didn't use. The only down thing would be a doorman to help with the luggage. Idk if they were short staffed at the time but it was only a receptionist. However it didn't spoil our stay. The wifi is fast which doesn't happen very often in Istanbul. If you have any doubts just book this place!

Staff was just extremely nice. Ibrahim the front desk assisted me the most during check in on two separate occasions as I booked two room type on my 4-night stay. I rate this hotel 5 stars on everything but I’ll mention a couple of things. There’s a sewer smell in the junior suite with terrace category. And the minibar has condoms inside the fridge but as it turns out they really sell those. I brought it to their attention because some guests including myself would have thought they were from previous guests because condoms are not listed in the minibar menu. And why they’re in the fridge I’m not sure. But everything is exceptional and definitely will stay there again on my next visit to Istanbul. Location is nice, walking distance to the busy street in Taksim and yet the street where it is located is very quiet. Most hotels claim their rooms are sound-proof. Well, this hotel really has soundproof rooms and I love it! 5 stars!

I chose this hotel specially because of their large room, i have been on istanbul 6 times, i stayed on more than 10 hotels, this is one if the disappointment stays i ever had. The hotel was 3 times expensive 3 times disappointing! I booked for 6 night - 3 on junior suite, 3 on duplex. When i got to check in, they say their was technical issue with room they will give me duplex (as an upgrade!) i needed the junior suit for the reason it git a bathtub on the room and a balcony for the kids!! Their are many pubs on near the hotel, loud music all the night. And the horns and motor sound can be heard all night! Every hotel on Istanbul offers free break fast, on check out they demanded i pay for 3 breakfasts, i can eat three days with the same price- very absurd. Every hotel i stayed on istanbul, the mini bar was free, they charged me 500 lira for full mini bar for 6 days. If i knew this i would spill the wine i never touched from the window every night! There is 2 stores near the hotel exactly you can buy half of the store with this sum! I would not recommend this hotel for anybody, its far from everything, loud, and i trying not to talk about the staff because some of them were very kind. Take it at your own risk
