Meserret Palace Hotel

The hotel is a new property with very comfortable rooms and exceptionally friendly service. It's quite close to the main Istanbul international airport and far nicer than similarly located hotels in other major cities (I am thinking of Paris, NYC, Los Angeles, etc). It only serves breakfast, but they helped us order good delivery Turkish food, then served it to us in the dining room on proper plates. Traveling as a family, we were pleased to have a choice between a double with 2 twins or 4 twins in the same room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed (better quality than the much more expensive resort we'd just stayed at in Bodrum). If you have an early flight or long layover, THIS is where you want to stay. We're fans!
