Adora Hotel

Unfortunately it was a bad experience. I stayed at the Adora hotel 2 years ago and it was great. This time I book 2 rooms at the hotel again to spend some days with my family in Istanbul. When we got at the Hotel 9:30PM, they told us that they did not have one room available. They offered us a room for 3 people in a near hotel but since I was the only person from my family who speaks english. We could not get separated. I told the manager to do not worry, just give me a refund I will go to another hotel. They keep insisting for us to stay separated. After more than 20 min discussing, they told us that they got another room available for us. When we got into the room after 1/2 hour, it was the dirt room possible, smelling cigarettes (I book a non-smoking room) and in extremely poor condition. We were so tired that we end up staying there that night and we left the day after to a hotel called Historia were the service was excellent. Adora unfortunately became more a restaurant than a hotel. Sad, but disappointing.
