AC Hotel by Marriott Bratislava Old Town

Pretty standard Marriott-family hotel experience on the inside. The location was a little odd as it is not directly on a street. But it is very close to the small central historic area of Bratislava which is worth checking out.

Good location, only a short walk away from the town centre. Would recommend a tram from the train station rather than walking though (around a 30 minute walk). Room was large and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family including a large sofa bed for the child. WiFi and aircon were great. Staff were friendly. Room was very clean, but we did spot a dead cockroach on the floor in the bar area when we were waiting to leave. I can only guess this was brought in from elsewhere by accident, as the hotel itself was spotless. We only stayed for a single night as a stop off between other cities, so we went into town for breakfast instead of eating at the restaurant. We stayed in 4 hotels during our trip across Europe, and this was easily the comfiest one we stayed in. Would definitely come back.

Perfectly situated for the old town and easily reachable from the station. Lovely room for a family of four, fantastic breakfast and very professional and friendly staff. Loved our stay at this hotel…
