JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La (SG Clean)

Nice hotel to stay and kids friendly hotel.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay at hotel Jen. This is my second time staying here because I love how convenient it is. Somerset station is right downstairs and I can easily hop onto MRT to go places. The only negative thing I would say is the missing partition between the bathroom and the room. It was there the first time I stayed here. It gives more privacy to the bathroom. Other than that, everything was wonderful. My kids loved the rooftop pool.

Experience is good, room is clean, good variety of amenities, swimming pool is big enough, there's kids pool as well. Location is excellent for shopping.

The hotel location is in the center of Singapore with easy access to all the tourist attractions. It’s also adjacent to the Orchard mall with tons of options for dining and shopping making this hotel and favorable option for families with small children. It was super easy and affordable to call a Grab car or taxi. No need to rent a car. This staff is amazing, they literally turn down the room and vacuum every day. The roof top pool and restaurant is awesome. You have spectacular views with an infinity pool that has jets to massage your body. Five star accommodations and service. Will stay here if we ever return to Singapore.

Great location to access marina bay sands and Sentosa island by short, cheap taxi rides. Hotel was clean and well equiped, staff were very helpful and friendly. Stayed in a deluxe family room which was perfect for our family of 4.

The view from the pool is truly amazing. Very friendly staff. Very spacious room. Even with 2 kids no problem to sleep in the big king bed!!! Awesome

It was great to recieve a kids pack and a lollypop from reception for kids. Its good to see because hotels don't do this where I have been considering I have been to many hotels before. Staff was lovely. Pool was perfect!! Thumbs up. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the breakfast buffet. There needs to be more variety.

This is by all means NOT a 5 star hotel! However charges rates of a 5 star property. The selling point is the rooftop pool that is pretty nice, but like the rest of the hotel is showing signs of wear and tear and age. Starting with check in, there was no help with the bags that you would expect from a 5 star property at all from the lobby on ground level up to reception on the 10th floor. Check in was clumsy and lacked professionalism. The family room we had booked was intact very spacious and was plenty of room for our family of 4. However the room was by no means finished to a high standard and lacked any luxurious touches. There was no mini bar in the room, just an empty fridge, and there wasn’t even complimentary water left in the room which is standard in so many hotels in Singapore at many levels. The air conditioning was the main problem as it was as noisy as being on a plane and the controls did not work to turn the fan down from its only speed. As I said the pool area is lovely and has a great view of iconic areas, but is run down and tired. There was construction happening on the bar and kitchen so there was a makeshift bar set up with what I would call limited offerings. The breakfast buffet was very good but if you didn’t get in early there seemed to be a very large queue building up at peak time. The hotel is in such a great area with an MTR station and many restaurants right underneath. I would not stay here again.
