AP Adriana Beach Resort

This was not the highlight of our month long European trip. We felt like we were on a cruise! Big buffets with acceptable food, evening and afternoon entertainment, mostly enjoyed by kids! Not on the beach. And 100 stairs down to the beach when you got there. The bed was a bit hard. 2 thin towels in the bathroom with no real amenities. The thing that bothered us the most is that you didn’t feel like you were any place special, and we were in Portugal! On a positive note, we had a lovely 3 1/2 mile long walk down the beach to the next town! So walking back was about 7 miles! We don’t have any regrets about staying there 2 nights but we wouldn’t go back. Many guests seemed to love it!

Staff were great. From catering to entertainment, they had lots of energy and were very pleasant. Kids entertainment was very good and they have lots of things kids love. Rooms were slightly smaller than expected but again really clean and the entire complex was spotless. Food generally very good perhaps a little repetitive but always very fresh. The bar did close really quite early though which I found strange, but then I don't drink alcohol until later in the day, but a smaller late bar would be a positive addition. Overall great and the kids loved it.
