Wells-Ogunquit Resort Motel & Cottages

We found the motel to be clean and comfortable. I only have two cons to note. The bathroom lacked ample counter space, which presented a challenge when getting ready. Also, the continental breakfast was sparse with the only protein option to be high sugar kids yogurt. A light greek yogurt would have been a nice addition for adults, just to have something other than muffins, oatmeal and bread. But overall, decent accommodations at an affordable price. And a highlight were the workers meeting guests at their rooms in the morning with an umbrella when it was raining. Well done!

The motel was a nice, family oriented place. It seemed well cared for. Liked having the continental breakfast. It was quiet and comfortable. We chose the motel because was a 10+ minute walk to the beach, but what I didn’t know is that this is Moody Beach and is a private beach, and that you have to take a right after getting on the beach and walk for another 10+ minutes to get to a public beach, which is North Beach. Since we didn’t know this, we stayed at the beach access area at Moody beach and crammed into the beach assess area that was already crowded with people. We still enjoyed our time at this motel, and it wasn’t their fault we didn’t know where to go, I just included this information in case it helps someone else during their beach adventures in this area, and they don’t know the area.

The property was beautiful! Totally kid friendly with the two different play areas as well as the fenced in pool area. The rooms were so quiet and the area was very nice. A convenient location to walk, ride or a quick drive to the beach, and the options for food were so close and easy to access! The free breakfast was better than I anticipated and the staff were very welcoming and kind. Will definitely recommend and/or return!

I can't say enough about Kari and her amazing staff. I felt like I was in a friend's kitchen, because thats what the office is-an amazing kitchen with staff cooking breakfast. Including baked beans, delish!! Exceptionally clean grounds and rooms. The walls are not thin- lots of families with kids-i didnt hear a thing. Slept like a rock. 3/4 mile walk to beach. Clam shack right across the road. Loved being able to read a book outside of my room under a covered porch. Fridge,microwave and toaster. Ice machine outside. Fenced in play area for the littles. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

We stayed here for a few days on a recent trip to Boston and Southern Maine. Super friendly staff- cute, clean older motel. My kids loved the breakfast in the morning and playground in the back. Only bummer was the pool was down a couple of days and the ocean is not my kids favorite and it was quite a walk.

Great family spot. Conveniently located. On the trolley route.

very nice, clean place. Picnic breakfast was good and fun to eat outside. Seems like a great place for a family stay, with pool area, grills, etc.
