Tons of activities. Pickle ball, swimming, boat rentals, shuttle to Coronado. Staff dressed like pirates played with kids at pool. Kids movies at pool in the evening. Grounds are very nice. Seemed like it catered to wealthier guests.
We had lower cost room with view of pool. I think it was the best view. Could see marina, ocean, and all the fun and music happening in the pool. Perfect for us. We set on our third story deck and felt like we were part of the action.
Negative for me was dining prices. The resort is far from town with no other options then to pay high dining prices at one if their 3 restaurants.

This Hotel offers everything a family could want to have a safe, fun and relaxing vacation.
We’ve been coming here since our kids were toddlers now they’re 36, 32 and 27. We still reunite here for summer and about 10 cousins and aunts join as well!

The area is beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful, the resort is also adequately equipped to keep families entertained with various activities at your fingertips. The property seriously needs to be renovated, common areas are well kept but the rooms were very dated. Parking is also excessively priced.

The hotel was overcrowded during the Soccer in the sand tournament. The service was terrible, we couldn't even get food and had to order Uber eats to feed the kids. There were too many events going at the same time: prom, soccer in the sand, wedding. The pool was overcrowded and dirty.

Very nice resort. I wouldn't go back with kids - there just weren't many options for entertaining them when it wasn't "pool weather." Pretty boring for them overall. Our room was fine - it had a definite "funk" to it - the bathroom just smelled like sewer or mildew or something - I even bought a candle to burn in the bath room because the smell was so bad.

Need to modernize it so u can pull phone in for a charge, left adapter at home.
And kids shouldnt be in hot tubs, made me not want to get in.
Food to expensive, med size pizza was 28 dollars and it wasnt better than lil caesars and a caesar salad 62.00. SMH

This was our first staycation and it didn’t disappoint It’s not in the heart of Coronado but they have a shuttle that will take you in every 30 mins. The pool area is a lil dated though super clean. They have a separate pool for adults, families and kids. Our room was a top corner and quiet facing the pool. The lobby area is grandiose and beautiful. Nice large lounge area and coffee shop. Beautiful views of the bridge. This stay added to what was a lovely Valentine’s Day. Oh and they welcomed us with a glass of bubbles which was a nice touch. We will be back!

I loved staying here and I would love to go back with my family. Everything about this resort was great and even though there was a hurricane, the staff handled things so well and I still had a great time!

Great property. If you are seeking a location for family, give this one a look. Pools are really nice + beach access is nice -- you can come and go all-day. Beach has complimentary chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests -- don't sleep on that hidden gem. Guest rooms and their bathrooms are better than I was expecting. Pay for the upgraded views. Onsite gym and pickleball courts were a plus for sure. Restaurant located onsite @ pool can spoil you for sure ... but watch the prices ... a little high but you're paying for the convenience I suppose. Food is really good and you don't get short-poured if that helps.
Overall, this place will cost a few $$ -- in CA there's always more fees than you think at time of booking.
Excellent service @ front desk and valet. Bartenders could use some customer-friendly training (main bar inside lobby). Pool attendants and shuttle drivers were terrific as well. Seems to me this place is ran by young adults who have hearts, smarts and gumption ... they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay.
People that ding this place are probably used to real high-end 5-star/4-diamind properties. If you are used to nice Marriott properties (and the like) then you will find this place meets/exceeds your needs and expectations.
Very close to Coronado Island so easy access to golf, shopping and restaurants.
We already miss it ... will be back for sure.
