The hotel is located in the heart of Goreme, just 1-2 min walk to one of the main streets where all the restaurants, taxis, shops, tours are located. The hotel manager, staff and family are warm and welcoming and took care to address every question and need we had with expediency. We also got some great recommendations to see balloon viewing spots at sunrise - the hotel terrace is also a good spot!
The highlight is definitely the breakfast - one of the most delicious tasting we had in Turkey. Incredible spread of fresh home made dishes, made with love by the owners mother.
We really enjoyed our stay - highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back next time we visit!

The place was very nice, tidy and clean. The area is great to do all the things available in Cappadocia. The host is amazing and friendly, he will help you sort out anything you need! The hotel has a nice small terrace area to relax and have breakfast in (breakfast at the place is great by the way and prepared by the host and his family every morning!)

The staff was very friendly and helpful for setting up excursions and shuttle services. They ended up saving us money in the long run after our prearranged balloon ride cancelled. Luwian staff ended up booking us for the next day with a more reputable company that ended up being $120USD less that our original booking. Same with a Turkish bath they arranged, and they scheduled all airport shuttles and a Green Your excursion.
The room was big, the bed was comfortable. They didn't clean and provide clean towels every day which is fine with us as we don't need clean towels and linens every day, and we always make our own bed. They provided laundry service for us when we needed our clothes cleaned. The breakfast provided every morning was huge, fresh and delicious.
The only negative was an occasional sewer gas smell coming from the shower drain which I didn't notice as much as my husband did. We did notice as we walked around town that utility work was being done which may have been the cause of the smell.
Charming hotel and family who work there!

The property has a warm personal touch since it is being run by a family and they will treat you like aa family too. The receptionist/manager Yousuf was very helpful in guiding us and booking our tours and making sure all is well during our stay. The room is clean and the terrace has a great view of the fairy chimneys you can even watch the hot-air baloons in the early morning, location is near from the center, we just walk 5 minutes from the bus station, restaurant and shops are nearby. I highly recommend this property, the rate is good value for your money.

The hotel is family run, and they are quite lovely people. But when we arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned and there was a pillow with a large stain that looked the color of blood. I pointed out the pillow and they changed it for another (from a smaller chair). The bathroom I didn’t notice until later still had the half used shampoo bottles of the previous guests.
If it had been clean all else would have been livable. It is small and off the street a bit, but despite how the street looked it seemed safe enough. The breakfast was bountiful and very good.

Very friendly and helpful people at this family run, small, comfortable hotel. Great breakfast on a terrace with fantastic views, large room with large bathroom, easy parking - only the wi-fi could be better, as it only worked well by the window.

If you like to experience Cappadocia at its best and fullest - not simply a tourist but more like returning home family member - then Luwian Stone House should be your ultimate choice. It is a cozy and nicely decorated B&B which is run by a local cheerful family: father, mother and two brothers. Yusuf, one of the brothers, speaks a good English and he is a manager. I stayed there four nights and felt like being an old friend by the degree of hospitality and attention given to me. Yusuf is truly available 24/7 for his guests and he is indispensable source of information on all “best deals” in the town. Always smiling and ready either to crack a joke or have serious conversation about local culture and history. His mother is an amazing cook. A lot of people praised her home-made breakfasts, but I was also given a privilege to try her three-course supper: yogurt-and-mint based soup, pumpkin stew and semolina-cakes desert. It was five star experience. Big THANKS goes to Luwian Stone House for my time in Cappadocia.
