Meroddi Bagdatliyan Hotel

I really enjoyed the happiness of all the staff. Breakfast at the hotel was great. Lots of choices and different food and fruits. Delicious biscuits and cakes. I stayed there an entire week and I am going back with my family. I also got a nice gift at the end of my stay: a travel book guide as a hope to come back and enjoy the wonderful terrace at the 4th flour at Meroddi.

Instead of getting a room the room we paid for as pictured on Expedia, we were taken to another one of their “hotels” which looked like a crackhouse. It had broken windows and steps. It was very slippery and wet on the narrow, winding stairscase as if a pipe had burst. There was electrical wires hanging down from the third floor to the first floor, and there was moldy walls with paint peeling. I have 3 young children and they wanted us to stay in this hotel. I had to fight, argue and wait for over an hour to get something that resembled the rooms we paid for. The hotel also agreed to let us check in early and check out late under the condition that we booked the day we were enquiring about this trip which was on January 19, 2018. Then during our trip it’s like this conversation never took place and I had to spend a long time arguing and standing my ground as well as contact Expedia through FB messenger and on the phone.
