Galatahan Hotel

This hotel is exactly what we needed for a week while we explored the city with my family abs held a massive family wedding dinner. The facility was conveniently located, clean and updated elements. The rooms could use an iron and ironing board. Additionally, the door to the shower, which also served as the door to the bathroom (which is totally cool, actually) made a terrible cracking sound due to a misalignment. These are small things though. I’d definitely stay here again. The breakfast is top notch every day! We accidentally left the safe open and the cleaning staff took a picture and told us right away, and left everything as is, which was totally appreciated, since it was absolutely our mistake. This was very conscientious of the hotel. Definitely a good place to stay!

Great Location and great breakfast. However, as soon as we put our feet into the building, we started to experience not the best customer service. The service was not as expected. I will start to mention that the from desk person at check in is not a good listener, he is rude. I decided ignored his as I don't really want to spend time arguing with an unhappy person, especially after a long fly. I let my husband to deal with him. We booked a Family suite, the room is very well designed but was not totally clean, the cover bed on the master room was not clean. Seems like they didn't change it from the last guess. and we decide not to use it. Also, during our 5 days 4-night stay, they didn't change the beds sheets. They only change the towels. I did the request to change the bed sheets to one of the housekeeping and unfortunately seems like they didn't understand due to language barrier. The lights in the main room and main bathroom never work, we asked multiples times to see if someone can come and fix it and it never happens, the excuse was the Eid Holiday and that people from maintenance was in vacation, which it was acceptable for the Eid day but not for the rest of our days. We have to use our kiddos room to shower and to do everything that needs light (make up, fix our hair, etc). I also provide the feedback to the from desk person and seems like he didn't care.
