The Davis Bangkok Hotel

My family has staying in Davis many times before the pandemic. We were so excited to return to the place because we have some fond memories there. However, the night shift manager was unbelievably inconsiderate. The rooms looked stale. And the service and amenities were significant deteriorated. The swimming pool had fungus growing on the sides. We would not return to this place. Sad!!!

Property along with furnishings in the room needs some serious updating as the condition is very old. Hotel needs renovation badly. The hotel is also located too far away from the main Sukhimvit Road to all main shops, malls and attractions. A family on a budget needs to factor in additional cost for taxis since the hotel doesn’t provide a free shuttle for guests.

beautiful and quiet, we had the 3 bedroom pool villa with lots of space, a kitchen, each kid had own room with ensuite, lovely, right on the pool Breakfast is simple but fine, easy to order in or walk for a nice meal nearby, starbucks nearby, Only one con: Did not receive daily maid or cleaning service, not sure if we needed to ask for it or what but no one came to take out trash, exchange towels, etc

We stayed at the 2-bedroom Presidential Suite for 3 nights for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms were separated by a huge living room, and each room has its own huge bathroom with bathtub and shower area. I know that some people complain the room and hallway looks tired - it does, but it was clean so for the price we paid for such a huge suite with so many amenities, we have no complaints about the room. Check-in was smooth, all of the staff were polite and courteous, and what we liked the most about this hotel is that there is a Family Mart right in front of hotel and plenty of restaurants nearby. The nearest BTS skytrain is about 15 minutes walk, and we always took the complimentary tuk-tuk service from the hotel to the BTS station. The only complaint that we had was the breakfast buffet spread was nothing special. Other than that, we were completely satisfied with our stay.
