5 out of 5 stars

The property was very well maintained, the lobby is definitely 5 star quality. The pool was easy to access and very clean. The room had plenty of space for a family traveling with lots of luggage. The staff was welcoming (especially the door man), i wish i would of got his name. He was very helpful and literally walked us to a noodle shop that he recommended. There were a few downsides to the hotel, such as the cost of eating at their breakfast buffet(2100 THB for a family of 4), You could literally feed a family of four in china town (seafood, 1900 TBH), for less than the cost of the breakfast buffet. The hotel was upgrading the wifi, so it was very limited in our room. Getting a taxi was easy, but it was a 30 minute drive to the nearest mall. We stayed a week and really enjoyed it overall.

We are a family of 4 who stayed for 4 nights however we can smell someone smoking from the AC that makes us hard to breathe at night and condition of the hotel needs couple of improvement and location is a bit far from main shopping etc

My family and I were placed on the third floor which smells like cigarettes. The rooms were okay. Nothing within walking distance. Transportation fees were high.

Overall, the property was okay. I wasn’t expecting high end 5-star, so we got what we paid for. The room and hallways were a little dingy and old, peeling wallpaper. The lobby is nice and I liked they had a fitness center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location wasn’t too bad. A great market nearby for food (Nang Leong), there is also the wholesale district close by that you can get the elephant pants and other clothes for cheap (but you had to buy more than 3). I would stay here again. Thank you Royal Princess. Family (2 adults, 2 kids)

4 out of 5 stars

Stayed for 3 nights as a family of 4. Kids loved the pool (they demanded I mention that in this review)! Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location, just a tuk-tuk (100 baht) away from attractions like the Golden Mount, and the Bobae Market on a weekend is worth exploring. Our room was nice, though clearly a bit dated and tatty. The TV didn't have a remote, meaning you had to change the set-top box channels manually. Not a huge deal, but after a long day of walking around Bangkok, it's not perfect! Also the master light switch in the room was an old, 80s style switch box that was half out of it's furniture. Overall though a nice hotel, great pool and a great location. Would recommend.

This hotel is the perfect example of the owner having a rather good idea of what high clad hotel are supposed to look like but the reality it’s quite different... - transport : the hotel “proposes” a shuttle for the airport (super expansive!!!) and you have to book it at least 5 hours in advance ! - services : I asked some information regarding restaurants, a local map and activities we can do in Bangkok. No restaurant around the hotel ( the staff doesn’t know where we can go), I am still waiting for the map and a fun fact about the activity is that they forgot to tell us the palace was close for bouddhiste holiday the next day - internet connection : politely described as “erratic” - room : I have booked a 4 persons bedroom and they thought it is enough to put only 2 towels in it (should be fine right?) - last but not least the “award winning “ Italian restaurant : 50min to have a pizza ( evenly domino’s quality), a soup and a grilled salmon with no sides (and they are not ashamed to serve only one person 15min before the others during a family diner). Oh and You must like karaoke atmosphere too... Finally for me the service is not in rendez vous for an hotel which proudly displays his 4 stars You can certainly find a better place for the same price elsewhere.
