Ayre Hotel Córdoba

This is a great hotel if you have a vehicle, as it is a few miles from the totally fantastic city center of Cordoba. But unlike the hotels at the center, this one has a great pool and nice gardens. Parking is also free here. The rooms are a little old but well kept and large enough. The hotel is also very clean, and the pool is great though not very large. We visited as a family and rented two rooms. One smelled like the pipes were having some serious problems, but the staff changed us to another room right away. Breakfast was nice and less than 10 Euro per person, but be sure to ask for fresh squeezed orange juice instead of the carton variety. There are also tennis courts, a soccer pitch and a few other sports fields. Overall this is a great choice, but, again, be sure to have transportation. The free shuttle to the city would leave only once a day. I guess you could take a taxi. But if you have a car, parking in town is pretty cheap at a local garage.
