Oyster Bay Beach Resort

We loved our room and location of this resort! Definitely get one of the one bedroom suites if you can. I recommend renting a car to get around. Orient Beach is only 15 mins away and has some great restaurants. The Oasis restaurant is only 5 mins away and it’s a great little French restaurant beside a French cafe, Bread and Butter. I will say this about the resort in that it is very quiet and it seemed like the activities focused around the seniors. If you have young kids you may want to stay someplace else that has a younger clientele. Every night we came back after dinner it was very quiet around the pool and the bar was pretty much empty, starting about 7pm.

They was very helpful and friendly to me and my grandchildren.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff and other guests were amazing with our kids. The pool is so clean and beautiful. We rented a car and really enjoyed exploring around the island as well as a day trip to Anguilla. The food was great too!

What I love about this property were the people. Always greeting everyone with a smile and being willing to help. I also liked the fact that it's located in the middle of the French and Dutch sides. Although you will definitely need a car to get around, nothing is within walking distance, but both sides could be reached within 25-30 minutes of this area. But if I did more research I would have never stayed in this place. It's outdated for my taste, very expensive, and there is too much going on because it's a time-share property. The crowd is older and although they have a daily itinerary, for me and my kids (9 & 16 y/o) there wasn't much to do. My reservation stated free continental breakfast-For this hotel continental breakfast means coffee, orange juice, and a croissant or toast with jelly. For me, continental breakfast consists of something different. We had the buffet breakfast on the first day, not knowing that it wasn't included, and it was the worst breakfast I ever had in my life. Everything is cold and hard as if it was made the day before. The only thing that was fresh was the fruits. This was the first and last day we ate at their restaurant as the breakfast manager was the only person in this hotel who had a nasty attitude.

We stayed in the Tower, the room was at the ground level with its own private pool. I have stayed in many resorts/hotels on St. Maarten and my 2nd time in such rooms at this resort. It's pricey, but from what I know there's no other resort with such a room. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, tubs, private pool, full kitchen, dining, living... Most likely bigger and more spacious and family friendly/luxury than most people homes. Definitely not even available at most resorts around the world. Absolutely Great Stay!

We enjoyed the staff, both at the restaurant and bar. Everyone was so nice. The place seemed well kept, considering the need to rebuild from Irma. The room cleaners did a good job throughout the week. It was a good choice for our family to stay here, thank you.
