35 minute walk into the City. Good hotel with breakfast included. Breakfast areas can get crowded so potentially you won’t have a table, just need to get in early. My only issue were the thickness of the walls, we could hear everything our room next door with kids were saying clearly. The roof is also tin so when it rained it was hard to sleep.

The hotel is situated in the middle of two lovely restaurants with a horse stable and riding school behind it. When you arrive in the afternoon, you can watch the children taking their riding lessons from the lobby or the back porch area of the hotel as you sip a hot drink of your choice that you have made in the lobby (which you will pay for). The lobby has great sliding doors, which are usually open during the day, letting in a gentle breeze. In the early evening travelers and business colleagues meet for dinner and drinks at the restaurant next to the hotel in their outdoor seating areas lit by lantern and fire. Maybe you would like to see the Oudegracht, so you rent one of the bikes provided by the hotel, that are in excellent repair, for 16 euro/day. You make the short journey into town and enjoy a delicious dinner at the many nearby restaurants. When you return, you are greeted by helpful and friendly hotel staff that will answer any of your questions. Your room has a modern feel with cement floors and streamlined furniture. The bed is comfortable with a pillowy duvet cover. The next day you will enjoy a fantastic breakfast, especially on the weekends, with croissants, pastry, bread, meat, cheeses, fruit, vegetable, juice, cereal, yogurt, and most hot drinks (no hot chocolate). When you return from exploring that day, you will find your room has been straightened and bed made. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it to you.

Basic but very nice infrastructure. Unfortunately there were kids running & yelling around in the morning which woke us up. The breakfast was nice but there were too many people and not enough distance was kept (Corona measures not followed)

Situated in pleasant environmental surroundings. Frequent good bus services* to central Utricht. Ideal for families with young children - even riding lessons available for the kids! * 3-day bus passes a winner!
