Best Western Plus Hotel Groningen Plaza

I decided to stay in this Hotel because of it's facilities ie the pool & the nearby lake, as I moved into an apartment in Central Groningen on Monday. My extended family will probably come out to visit me however over the coming months, so i needed somewhere decent for them to stay & the flank Hotel certainly didn't dissapoint

This was the best hotel that we stayed at! We loved everything about it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful atmosphere and the hotel is very clean. The room was spacious and gave us some privacy as a family with the connecting door to the bedrooms. The view is awesome. We spent hours biking around the lake and enjoying the trails. The dining options are great and the service is wonderful! We cannot wait to return!

Amazing location and a Nice breakfast buffet. But the room was less than impressive and given the fact that this was the most expensive hotel In the area we are not happy with the facilities. Traveling with a baby you have certain needs and the room was really poorly decorated for that. We had no refrigerator in the room, the doors to the toilet and wash room were really squeaking loud and also the toilet flushed so loud and the door was binding and didn’t want to shut completely, so we had to use the one in the hallway in stead to not wake the baby. Also, there were very few electrical outlets and none in the bathroom. And the lights were poor. Just overall not an impressive room for such a high rate.
