Holiday Inn Queretaro-Centro Historico, an IHG Hotel

I booked through Expedia. The reservation proceeded without any problem on their platform. I printed the itinerary and also received a confirmation SMS. However, when I showed up at the hotel reception, they did not want to honor my reservation. This created a big problem for me, because I was forced to look for another hotel with availability under a heavy rain. I booked through Expedia because I needed immediate accommodation, since a family member died and I immediately moved to Querétaro to attend to the emergency; After 5 hours of travel I received the unpleasant surprise of not having accommodation. I made the reservation at approximately 4:00 p.m. and I showed up at the hotel at 9:00 p.m. Honestly, both Expedia and the hotel simply distanced themselves from the problem, it's a shame. Due to this situation I did not become a client of that hotel and I hope to never book again in IGH hotels in my life, their interest in their clients is zero.

Easy to get there, close drive to historic center of the city, very clean, beautiful and peaceful areas to rest, great for kids.
