Hotel Centrum

I stayed here 2 weeks for a business trip. This was a fantastic place to stay. The first thing worth mentioning is the STAFF! They are the best, friendly, helpful, hospitable people! This is a small hotel in a quaint part of town which makes it easy to walk around the city center. They have a parking option which is very difficult to get in Italy, so this is a big plus. The breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, cheeses, pastries etc. It seems to be family owned and they know how to make you feel at home. The rooms were clean and typical European rooms, meaning a little small. If you are looking for a Hilton or Sheratan "feel" then this might not be the place for you. Very personal stay. I am not sure what more I can say about this place but one of the best places overall I have stayed and I travel a lot for work.

My father and I stayed at this hotel after Christmas. He is in a wheelchair and the hotel team took great care to help accommodate his needs. This is a family run hotel and they had additional family in town for the holidays and they all welcomed us as if we were one of their family. The hotel is very clean and the pride in the upkeep of the property was top notch. The location is very good and just a short walk to the center of Catania and all the restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.
