GDM Megaron Historical Monument Hotel

Loved the friendly staff and clean room. Best hotel breakfast ever! No kidding! Superb !

Wonderful place to stay. The staff is superb The breakfast buffet brings one back to a childlike feeling of entering a candy factory with all the most decadent foods imaginable laid out before you.

The Megaron is a beautiful hotel with great views over the harbour, particularly from the lovely rooftop terrace with its swimming pool. Our room was excellent, with everything we could want, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming you almost felt they were family! The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the interesting city of Megaron and the bus station (very modern) is conveniently close for making visits further afield. In addition, we took a fast Sea Jets ship from the harbour for a brilliant day out on Santorini. The hotel breakfasts were the best I have experienced in any hotel- so much choice, with lovely home-made and locally sourced food. It was hard to stop eating and we barely needed lunch! Altogether, it was a most delightful and memorable stay, which I would recommend to anyone.

The Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful and our junior suite was amazing! Would recommend to anyone going to Crete!
