Ermis Suites

This is a charming family-run hotel right on the beach in Agia Marina/Platanias. The area is very touristy, but the hotel is quiet and very clean with "rooms" that are more like apartments! The kitchenette is very well equipped with all you need for cooking, and also to make tea or coffee. There are several small supermarkets within walking distance, as well as restaurants and cafés for all budgets. Buses run frequently on the main road if you wish to explore areas further away from the hotel. It's a nice place to stay. The people running the hotel are very friendly, and also the other guests. I very much enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend this hotel.

great seaside break for all the family. Air conditioning in both bedrooms, would have been nice to have an air-conditioning unit in living room also. Family run business and they catered for all our requests.

We had an excellent experience at Ermis Suites. The rooms were well-lit, clean, and contained all of the basics you need for a comfortable multi-day stay. There was a private beach, though an extra charge for use of the chairs and umbrellas. Several restaurants, grocery stores, and tourist shops are located nearby, as well as a mini-golf and go-cart center for kids. It was very easy to travel to and from Samaria Gorge from here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for a longer stay in Chania.
