Overview

Mizata is a beautiful property that offers spectacular views and delicious food. Families may find that the hotel is more suited to adults, as some reviewers noted that the kids' pool was not well-maintained and that the music in the main restaurant might not be suitable for young children. However, many families raved about the friendly and impeccable service, the range of activities available (including horse riding and surf lessons), and the overall relaxing atmosphere. The remote location might require arranging transport but offers peace and quiet.

This place is beautiful for adults, definitely not for families with small children, we were set up by the “kids pool” it was green and unable to use during our stay because it was never cleaned . they didn’t have a chair for parents to sit around the pool, the only pools with chairs is the 18 pool and secondary pool by the front desk which was green too and there was a lot of construction around it. The trails to walk towards the rooms are dirt and with so much rain we were tracking all that dirt to the room . If you’re staying in a tree hutch you will have no problem with the dirt . The menu is limited and there are no other restaurants near by. There is a pupuseria across the street and she charges $2 per pupusas and they are not good. We had better for a fraction of the cost. There is no TV or microwave in case you have left overs and want to heat them up. If you’re still fascinated by Mizata be my guest.

I really enjoy our stay there. I like the food and the facilities. Just to be aware, if you bring little ones there, the music in the main restaurant was a bit distasteful. They play bad bunny, cardi b on and a lot of reggaeton. Like on repeat to the point that it becomes a bit awkward due to the amazing views. So I would recommend to talk to management and ask if they can change the music to be a bit more settleable for breakfast lunch or dinner. After hours is fine.

This property checked all the boxes for us! The service was friendly and impeccable. The views were spectacular and most importantly the food was delicious. We enjoyed a massage at the Spa, a horseback ride on the beach and surf lessons and every family member said they enjoyed this hotel. The remote location wasn't really an issue for us as rides to where we needed to go were easy to arrange and comfortable. We are hoping we have another excuse in the future to visit El Salvador and if so, we'll be sure to stay here again.

The peace and quiet you breath at this place is incredible. Josh the manager takes care of his guest as if they were family. The food was great. I cried when I left. I am looking forward to seeing mizata point resort again.

Loved our stay here, beautiful location, excellent food, newly refurbished bungalow and chilled atmosphere. But you can get that anywhere, what makes this place special is the team that have renovated the site and are building something new and exciting. We left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family.
