Hacienda Samana Bay Hotel & Residence

My family and I loved staying at Hacienda Bay Samana, great place with very good services and attention. Daniel was very friendly, professional and helpful.

The property looked better than the pictures. Clean, the staff is very friendly, hotel and room furniture is new. The only downside is a far drive but it was Worth it. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

Pros: -had two pools, a kid pool, and two hot tubs-view from pool was amazing! -had free breakfast with lots of choices -have a fruit juice on arrival and a bottle or wine -front desk was very helpful and our son particularly liked one of the security guards that was very friendly -smart TV -underground parking with a security guard -dog friendly-only $25 fee -some of the employees could speak English -clean outside area-places to walk dog that has security -hotel can set up excursions through action tours-but know the prices before you go! We used them for the el limon and los haitises tours and it was great. The last day they tried to take us to the beaches for $150!! Just know before you go! -cool balcony and views of bay-could hear the bikes -good a/c Cons: -when we arrived the pool had green stuff on the floor -not all the breakfast food came out fully cooked -stopped drinking natural juices and using ice because we got sick -sometimes gave us bad fruit -food from menu would change-got the shrimp risotto one night and it was pesto flavored and delicious. The next night it was yellow and not as good. -order burger twice-both times the bacon was raw -they are working on the downtown area-this hotel is a little ways away from restaurants and there aren’t the best choices around. -water in shower smelt like chlorine from the pool…I really hope not Overall, it was a good experience.

An amazing place to go with your partner, family and friends. The food was good too. And beautiful with fantastic view.

Excellent view from the rooms and the pool area is priceless. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with all our requests. I was traveling with my toddler and all our needs were met. Will definitely come back.
